What is poko?

Poko is a desktop app in development for a simple, personal way to connect with coworkers: send a poke, and they see an animated “Alex poked you!” notification. A small gesture for everyday recognition and informal check-ins.

Can I use poko today?

Not yet. We’re building toward an initial desktop release. This site introduces the product and our plans. The workday film is a staged illustration; there is no working app to download or use yet.

Which platforms are planned?

The desktop app is planned for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Mobile is on the roadmap for Q1 2027.

How can I hear about the launch?

Early access signups will open soon. The waitlist will be the place to register for product updates and availability news.

Will there be a Free plan?

Yes, the planned Free tier includes up to three pokes per person per rolling hour, in one workspace with up to three people. Paid plans will add capacity and team capabilities. Final details will be confirmed before launch.

What is planned for People Intelligence?

Team-level participation, reciprocity, and cross-team connection trends for People and HR teams. The approach centers on aggregate insights, without individual productivity scores.
